Tutoring Services
Tutoring is set up to tutor students in the areas of mathematics, reading, study skills, and test taking strategies. Tutoring will be done on a one to one basis or in small groups which provides the concentration and focus necessary to ensure growth.
The Math Program is comprised of four levels: Introductory, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, and Advanced. Skills Inventory Pre and Post-test are completed for every skill to identify strengths and weaknesses. Topics include: Basic Concepts (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division), Numeration/Number Theory, Data Interpretation, Fractions, Decimals & Percents, Pre-Algebra and Algebra, Measurement, Geometry, Estimation and more.
The Reading Program is arranged by grade level. Each grade level will consistently reinforce reading and writing skills. Topics Include: Comprehension, Vocabulary, Fluency, Phonics/Structural Analysis, Grammar, Spelling, Writing, Reference Skills and more.
